YOUR TEAM DOESN’T NEED ANOTHER
PEP TALK
They need to know they matter — visibly, specifically, structurally — and they need their leaders equipped to make that real.
——
Help your people do their best work without losing their minds, their weekends, or their best employees.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
I work with organizations who know something has to change.
Corporate and community leadership teams ready to build cultures where people now they matter, they are trusted, and they can perform. Banks, growing businesses, healthcare systems — folks that know retention and performance start with how people feel at work.
Nonprofits and social service organizations where the mission is everything, and it’s too easy for the people carrying to run on empty. Direct care providers, program leaders, and the supervisors holding it all together.
Parent communities, networking groups, and entrepreneur networks looking for a speaker who's dynamic, real, research-backed, and leaves people re-energized for months
HOW I WORK
Your team needs you in the room with them, learning this together, building something where people know they're needed — not just employed.
I'm a trained facilitator, ICF-credentialed coach, and someone who has lived this work from the inside out. I spent nearly two decades in healthcare policy and organizational leadership — including leading pandemic response — before burning out myself and rebuilding from the ground up.
So when I stand in front of your team, I'm not guessing about what burnout feels like. And I'm definitely not giving a pep talk.
My sessions are interactive, research-grounded, and designed for real adult learners with real demands on their time and attention.
I use frameworks from neuroscience, self-determination theory, Barbara Fredrickson's broaden-and-build research, and positive psychology (Seligman, 2011) — and I translate all of it into language and tools people can actually use.
I never just talk at a room. I facilitate. People work in small groups. They move around. They laugh. They have honest conversations with each other, sometimes for the first time. They leave with specific, practical tools they can implement Monday morning — and a shared language that keeps showing up in meetings weeks later.
And yes, I gesticulate like the New Jerseyan I am, a lot.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Not your average professional development experience.
“The trainer was fantastic!”
”The presenter was highly knowledgeable and helpful, working through the participant’s thoughts, comments, and questions. Very well put together!”
”All of it!! Everything was so helpful and the instructor was open to listening and expanding on questions.”
I build every session around the actual humans in the room. Before I show up, I talk to your team. I learn what's really going on — not just the version that makes it into a planning meeting. I design around that.
If applicable, I also design for neurodivergent learners and people who are already exhausted. That means chunked information, highly visual content, story-driven learning, movement breaks, and explicit permission to participate in whatever way works best. Sit in the back. Skip the group activity. Take a walk. No one's getting called on.
People consistently tell me they were skeptical going in and surprised by how much they got out of it. I'm regularly re-booked, and on post-event surveys, the feedback follows a pattern — high ratings across the board, and requests for more time and deeper dives.

— Rest as a Competitive Advantage participantAbout Kim
I'm an ICF-credentialed coach, trained facilitator, and keynote speaker with nearly 20 years of experience leading change in complex systems — including healthcare policy, nonprofit leadership, and state-level pandemic response. I host the podcast Now That You See It with Pancho Gomez and write at The Quitters Club.
I burned out spectacularly. Then I rebuilt. Then I learned why it happened and how to help others do the same — with neuroscience, positive psychology, and the kind of direct warmth that comes from having lived it.
I bring proprietary frameworks (the Forest Fire Burnout Map and FLOURISH recovery model) alongside established research to every engagement. My approach is science-backed, shame-free, and built to meet people where they actually are.
Let's figure out what your team needs.
I start every engagement with a real conversation — not a sales call. Tell me about your organization, your people, and what you're hoping to accomplish. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit and what I'd recommend.
